NSW Mines Rescue is responsible for providing emergency response services to the NSW coal industry. We train and maintain a brigade of emergency response personnel and provide expert advice in the event of an incident.

Our registered training organisation (Mines Rescue Pty Limited – RTO ID 90508) offers a comprehensive range of specialist industry training solutions. Courses can tailored to your needs and delivered in a variety of formats; at our purpose-built training facilities, onsite at your premises or at another venue of your choice.

Mines Rescue Virtual Reality create innovative and immersive training solutions for mining and hazardous industries. Our software complements traditional classroom training techniques and works to maximise the benefit of valuable face-to-face training services.

NSW coal mine operators are required to have mine site training plans for safety management systems (Training Competency Management Systems). This process is supported by our Order 34 team and related guidelines and resources.

The MoC portal is designed to assist NSW practising certificate holders with their Maintenance of Competence Scheme requirements as per the NSW Resources Regulator Guideline.
